Christopher Columbus is the name that almost everyone knows nowadays. But in the fifteenth century, Christopher was just an ordinary inhabitant. But this man had a dream. He wanted to find a new route between Europe and Asia. He was not afraid of dangers. Christopher was a great sailor. He asked the Queen of Spain to give much money for the expedition. And she agreed. Christopher had three ships for this journey. He made a long voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. He landed on a small island. Columbus thought it was Asia. But it was not. Christopher was near a different continent. It was North America. This discovery was great. This is the story of the life of one of the most famous men on the planet.
