An unusual weekend was waiting for Robert. He was going to spend it with his grandfather. His cousin Lucy was also to come. She and Robert were the same age and got along well. They were always interested in spending time together. They liked to stay with Robert's grandfather for several reasons: he was very clever and he was an inventor. Their grandfather created a lot of interesting and unusual devices. These were mainly new types of mobile phones. The grandfather was very interested in history. There were many old books on the wide bookshelves in his house. He often told fascinating stories, and the children knew that they were based on real events. When Robert knocked on his grandfather's door, a maid opened him. She invited the boy inside. This was supposed to be an ordinary pleasant weekend.
