Of course, they could not read and write. A Primitive Man lived in one of such caves. His name was Tegumai. One day he went fishing with his daughter Taffy. Tegumai had a very good spear but he broke it. So he began to mend the spear. Just then a stranger came along the river. Taffy wanted to ask him to go to their cave and bring that black spear. But the stranger did not understand her. He spoke another language. The girl drew a picture to explain the stranger how to get to their home and talk to her mother. She didnot know how to write.
