John F. Kennedy
John F. Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States. This part of his speech at the inauguration became famous: 'Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.' They said that with such a president, the country would have a great future. Hope appeared in the hearts of the Americans. With this new president, many new people with experience in political affairs appeared in the government of the United States. Kennedy gave his salary to charities. During the three years of his presidency, the country went through several crises, but also a space program was launched. Many steps were taken to overcome racial discrimination. In November 1963, the whole world learnt terrible news.
