Mr. Leadbetter was a vicar for many years. His life was measured and boring. Mr. Leadbetter was always calm. He never hurried. He was positive in everything. But Mr. Leadbetter had a secret that he had kept for almost twenty years. And he was very ashamed of it. It all happened when the vicar was a school teacher and worked in England. One summer holidays he came to Hithergate-on-Sea for rest. He met the tenant of the boarding house and they drank whiskey. The men talked about different things: science, its development, how people get boring and how the spirit of adventures disappeared from everywhere. When Mr. Leadbetter was walking from the bar, he saw a villa. The door of the balcony was opened. He decided to have a dangerous adventure to feel himself alive.
