One autumn morning of 1895 Sherlock Holmes received a telegram from his brother Mycroft Holmes. Mycroft asked him to meet and speak about a certain Mr Arthur Cadogan. Mycroft Holmes worked for the government. He wrote to his brother only when there was something necessary. That time it was about a strange death of Arthur Cadogan, who worked at the Woolwich Arsenal. Mr. Cadogan was walking with his wife to the theater. Suddenly he left his wife and ran away somewhere. In the morning a railway station worker found the body of Arthur Cadogan near the station. The wife of Arthur could not explain her husband's behaviour. Mycroft Holmes asked Sherlock to investigate this important case because Arthur had some secret drawings of a new British submarine. The drawings disappeared.
