This book consists of several interesting stories full of subtle English humor. The first story begins on a train. The inspector comes. All the passengers take their tickets and the inspector checks them. He gets closer and closer to Colin and Norma. Colin asks Norma to get tickets from the bag. The woman is surprised. She does not have them. She is sure that Colin has tickets. The couple begin to argue. When the inspector comes up, they continue to argue. Finally Colin finds their tickets. Norma states that she is never wrong. Colin just agrees. He gives the tickets to the inspector. Suddenly the inspector smiles. He says that the tickets are right. But Norma and Colin are on the wrong train.
