Strong hands closed around her neck. Life was leaving the woman minute by minute. She understood she would die soon. She wanted to scream, but realized that she could not even breathe. Her eyes darkened and the world around disappeared. This tinnitus became more and more intense. Finally, Clea woke up. She was in shock. The woman realized she was in her own bed. The clock on the nightstand showed half past four in the morning. Someone was ranging the doorbell. Clea could not move for several seconds. She felt like a diver at a great depth. The woman was frightened. Who could come at such an early hour? She picked up the doorphone and heard her mother's voice. She said something terrible had hapened. Clea pressed the button to open the door.
