The Curtains

Mr Denton had the only love in his life - ancient books. His collection grew bigger and bigger every year. But he lived in his aunt's house. The woman didn't like his hobby. Once Mr Denton was on business in London. Suddenly the man saw a bookshop. It was one of the best bookshops in London. In this shop Mr Denton found a collection of books about his hometown. He bought one book. It was called 'The Diary of Mr Poynter, 1710'. This book interested him very much. Only at home the man realized that he had forgotten to look for the curtains. His aunt was disappointed. But Mr Denton soon forgot about it. He began to read his new book. He found a strange pattern of curved lines on one of the pages. It was a mysterious pattern.
