This children's fantasy novel was written at the very beginning of the twentieth century. The first edition was devoted to the youngest son of the writer. There is an enchanted island in the middle of the sea. It is called the Isle of Yew. But the exact place is not indicated. Later, readers decide that it is located near the country of Oz. This island is divided into five important kingdoms. One kingdom governs the other four kingdoms. This is a medieval country ruled by a vicious tyrant. Dangerous giants and vicious dwarfs live there. Once a year they go to other countries to rob them. But one day one of the princes goes to experience andventures. There are more than enough thugs. So many exciting adventures are waiting for him. The prince resists the evil tyrant now.
