The main character of this story is named Roderick. He has always considered himself as a skeptical person completely unaffected by superstitions. Roderick communicates with Parson who is rather a creepy man. There are lots of ominous rumors about him. People are sure that Parson is a real vampire. Vampires do not exist in our world. Roderick shares this view. But while getting to know Parson better, his skepticism is becoming weaker. When Roderick first arrives at a gloomy Gothic mansion made of black stone, he only scornfully smiles. It is an ideal home for a vampire from some fairy tale. He is advised not to remove the cross while he is in this house. But can gloomy legends scare this intelligent man? Time will tell.
