The protagonist of this book welcomes readers. His name is Dacty. Dacty is a small young pterodactyl. Who are pterodactyls? These are huge flying reptiles that lived millions of years ago. These animals had a huge wingspan and could cover long distances. They hunted, ate fish and meat of small predators. Everything happens on Saturday evening. Roger and Helen are talking to each other in the living room near their parents. Suddenly they hear the phone call. The father answers. It turns out that Aunt Elizabeth returned from a trip to Greenland. She is visiting them next day and she has a big surprise for the children. The children try to guess what the surprise is, but of course, they can't do that. After all, the next day everything will be much more interesting than they could have imagined.
