Lucille and Yvette are sisters. When girls were small, a great misfortune happened to them. Their mother left the family. Cynthia was tired of living with her husband. So she ran away with a young man. The girls' father was a vicar. He was a handsome man and a good husband. All the neighbors could not understand why Cynthia chose that poor guy. The girls did not know either. They thought they were not good enough and therefore the mother did not love them. Their father got a new job, and the family moved to the house of the priest. There they began a new life. The mother of their father began to live with them. The girls' grandmother was glad that Cynthia had run away. Now she ruled everything. The old woman liked such power very much and she was afraid of Cynthia's return.
